I received at free room for my birthday month. The Casino / Hotel wasn't such that I’d give it a bad review, just more than I’d spend for an average weekend get away.Īm I missing something here with all the postitive reviews? I'm not a picky person at all. Bed was ok, but nothing remarkable -Front desk was friendly, but the check in took 15-20 min (we checked in about 5pm) -We stayed in the Eagle Tower, which was furthest from Casino, and very quite -Nothing stood out in the room – yet was one of the more expensive rooms I've stayed in *note – there was a nice looking pool and a bowling alley on site as well for kids -WIFI was horrible, throughout the casino and hotel! Just checking email or googling something took way too much time / effort Concert: -Smaller venue that expected, seating on floor was uncomfortably close -packed in lots of people! My shoulder and the guy next to me would over lap, except he leaned towards his wife, and I towards my husband Dinner/Breakfast: -We were going to try the buffet, but the hour + line made us rethink that and went to the cafe -Dinner and Breakfast were good! Casino: -We sat at the bar and played the poker machine before the concert and were looking to do so again after the concert – but too many people from the concert had the same idea -There wasn't really any bar space throughout the casino to relax for a bit -We ended up in our room, had a couple drinks there - We would have done some gambling – but wanted a few mins to sit and chat first, so we ended up not gambling at all due to the amount of people -free coffee and soda at self serve stations throughout Over all for the amount we paid, I’m not sure I’d go back. Scott McCreedy was terrific! Hotel: -Nice size room & Clean, bath towels were rough and what you would expect in a cheaper hotel.

We thought to make a weekend out of it for our anniversary. My husband I stayed here overnight to attend the Scott McCreedy Concert.
